Determiner Phrase

Definition

A determiner phrase (DP) minimally consists of a determiner and a noun phrase. In Skwxwu7mesh, all noun phrases are obligatorily preceded by an overt determiner (Jacobs, 2011, p. 89). DPs themselves are not obligatory. (Jacobs, 2011, p. 90)
