Numeral

Definition

Numerals usually precede the nouns they modify, though they may also follow the noun. If there is an adjective, it will follow the numeral, when the numeral precedes the noun. There are both simple and complex numerals where the complex numeral is composed of a numeral root and a lexical suffix. (Suttles, 2003, pp. 86-87)
