Reflexive Relation

Definition

A relation is reflexive if and only if all members of a given set are in a relation with itself. In other words, reflexive relations are generally found where two noun phrases have the same reference.

In the Halkomelem context, reflexives show detransitivization effects. (Gerdts, 1993, p. 600)
